Our Story

Robert McNeal, a retired Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), founded MPI in June 1989, after his retirement from the esteemed law enforcement agency, where he spent 20 years serving the nation. He was joined by his wife, Judy, and later by their son, Daniel, a former San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy, in 1994. Together, they expanded the business, bringing their collective expertise and experience to the table.

Today, MPI is a full-service security consulting and private investigations firm, recognized for its exceptional investigative support to clients across various industries. Our team of investigators has a long history of success in delivering high-quality services, including undercover operations, due diligence investigations, crisis management, workplace violence deterrence, honesty shopping, pre-employment background screenings, and investigations regarding theft/misuse of intellectual property, among others.
